Francisco Corella has an engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, a MS degree in
computer engineering from Stanford University, and a PhD in computer science from the University of Cambridge. He has broad experience in the computer industry, having worked as a manager at Symantec, as a researcher at Schlumberger Palo Alto Research and the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, and as an engineer-scientist at the Unix laboratories of HP. He is the author of about 20 conference and journal papers in several fields of computer science, and an inventor or co-inventor in 7 US patents.
